Water Heater Control Qualification

• The water heater must be 50 gallons or larger
• Control times vary, but normally are in evenings on very hot or cold days
• Maximum control period for 50 & 80 gallon heaters is 4 hours in a 10 hour period except in emergencies
• Maximum control period for 85 gallon heaters is 6 hours in a 10 hour period except in emergencies
