Electricity - 3,413 Btu's per Kilowatt Hour
Fuel Oil #2 - 138,800 Btu's per gallon
Propane - 71,000 Btu's per gallon
Firewood - 20,000,000 Btu's per cord
Wood Pellets - 13,600,000 Btu's per ton

All calculations are based on the price for Electric Reisitance heating. Enter the price per kilowatt hour in cents, for example 7.5 cents. Then click on the Calculate Button and the equivilent price of the other heating fuels will be calculated and displayed.
