CFL Bulb Rebate Program Continued Chippewa Valley is now providing a rebate in the form of a bill credit on compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Chippewa Valley will issue a $2.00 credit on up to ten (10) compact fluorescent bulbs when they are purchased and installed. CFL's are small fluorescent bulbs that replace incandescent bulbs. CFL's typically use 75% less electricity and will last up to ten times longer than the standard bulb. CFL's tend to cost more than a standard incandescent but the energy savings and bulb life add up to substantial savings over the life of the bulb.
