Air Source Heat Pump
Heat pumps come in many different styles. There are air-to-air or ground-water systems. The heat pump can be run as a stand-alone system or coupled with a fossil fuel system for dual fuel. Typically heat pumps run more efficiently than other types of heat.
The air source heat pump is designed to keep your house cool in the summer and provide supplemental heat for your furnace during the winter.

An air source heat pump can be installed to work in conjunction with your existing forced air furnace. At temperatures down to 25°F, it's more than twice as efficient as the highest-efficiency gas or oil furnace. Below 25°F, the pump allows your existing furnace to take over.
Call Chippewa Valley Electric to have your questions on air source heat pumps answered, (715-239-6800 / 800-300-6800.)
